We adhere to a strict policy of data minimization:

• Account Identity: We collect only the necessary credentials to authenticate you (Name, Email Address). If you use Sign in with Apple, you may choose to hide your email, in which case we process only the unique relay email provided by Apple.
• AI Inputs & User Content: The text prompts you enter and the documents (Markdown, PDF, DOCX) you upload for conversion or analysis.
• Usage Data: We use a proprietary, first-party analytics system to understand platform usage. We do not share your behavioral data with third-party advertising networks.

2. Cookies and Tracking

We use "essential cookies" and local storage solely to maintain your login session and secure your connection. We do not use third-party tracking cookies for advertising purposes. By using our platform, you consent to the use of these necessary technical cookies.

3. How We Process Your Data (AI & Infrastructure)

Our technical architecture is designed to separate external AI processing from internal file handling:

• External AI Models: Text prompts are transmitted securely to third-party Large Language Model providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) solely to generate responses. We do not use your data to train our own AI models.
• Internal Document Processing: File conversions (e.g., Markdown to DOCX) are performed internally on our servers using the Syncfusion library. Your files are not sent to Syncfusion or external APIs for format conversion.
• Secure Storage: All user-uploaded documents and generated files are stored in Cloudflare R2, an enterprise-grade object storage service. Files are encrypted at rest.

4. Payment Information

We do not store full credit card numbers, bank account details, or mobile money PINs on our servers. Transactions are processed by PCI-DSS compliant providers based on your region:

• Account Data: Retained in our PostgreSQL database as long as your account is active.
• Files: Stored in Cloudflare R2. You may delete your files manually via the dashboard at any time.
• Temporary Logs: AI interaction logs are retained for a limited period for debugging and abuse prevention, then permanently purged.

6. International Data Transfers

Your personal information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries outside your country of residence (including the USA, UK, and Nigeria). We ensure these transfers comply with applicable laws, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPR) and GDPR, through standard contractual clauses and data processing agreements.

7. Your Rights & Account Deletion

You have full control over your data:

• Right to Access: You may view your profile and usage history via your dashboard.
• Right to Delete (Revocation): You may request the permanent deletion of your account. This action is irreversible and will remove your data from our PostgreSQL database and delete all associated files from Cloudflare R2.
• Withdraw Consent: If you use "Sign in with Apple" or Google, you may revoke our access via your provider's security settings.

8. Children's Privacy

Our Platform is a professional tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our technology or legal obligations. Significant changes will be communicated via email or a platform notification.
